Founded in 2005 by CEO Tim McEnery, Cooper’s Hawk was built upon the belief that food and wine hold the power to forge lasting connections. The Cooper’s Hawk portfolio currently includes 49 Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurant locations, the Cooper’s Hawk Wine Club, and two “by Cooper’s Hawk” brands – Esquire and Piccolo Buco. Cooper’s Hawk wines have won over 600 awards and are the Official Wines of the Screen Actors Guild® Awards.
Cooper’s Hawk engaged Red Foundry, after several other successful product launches, in a mobile design and development project to make it easy for Wine Club Members to engage with their Club benefits, which include exclusive content and a new gifting feature! Users who are not a Member can still register for the app to explore our locations, menus, wines, wine-tasting experiences, and the Wine Club.
The project included:
- Extended Discovery and Design process, with a goal of demonstrating the value of a mobile app for members that would enhance their Cooper’s Hawk membership and not detract from the elevated restaurant and wine club experience. This resulted in high-fidelity designs for the planned solution and a strategic roadmap for future releases.

The app allows users to:
- Make and edit reservations
- View restaurant locations, save a preferred location, and view the details
- Browse the menu with wine pairings
- Order carryout
- Manage their account for Wine Club points, bottles, rewards, tastings, profile updates, credit card on file, membership type adjustments
- View the full wine list with tasting notes
- Access their virtual Member Card
- Purchase a Wine of the Month for a friend
