Troy Pasulka runs a successful LSAT tutoring business, which he wanted to take to the next level. Troy’s detailed instruction helps students improve their LSAT scores, but a traditional one-on-one approach to tutoring meant that high quality instruction could only be provided to a limited number of students.
Troy engaged Red Foundry in a Define, Design, and Develop project to solve his scaling problem with technology.
The project included:
- Definition and Design process, resulting in high-fidelity designs for the planned solution
- Student-facing mobile application developed using React Native – one codebase producing both iOS and Android Apps
- Tutor-facing web portal developed using React
- App Store setup and submission
Students now complete assignments in the LSAT Angel mobile app, which the tutor creates from a web portal. Troy has expanded his business to include small group courses, which he offers through the mobile app with a high degree of individual attention.
The LSAT Angel mobile application is now available in the Apple Store and the Google Play Store.
